Born in Prague and raised in Israel, Ilana has absorbed the atmosphere and temperaments of many cultures. At the age of twelve her family moved to Los Angeles where she later attended Cal State University Northridge, receiving her BFA and teaching credentials.

Ilana has over 40 years of experience as a teacher and professional artist. Her work is exhibited in galleries, cultural art centers, private and corporate collections. She has also been featured in the Los Angeles Times along with many other major art publications. She was affiliated with LACMA's Art Rental & Sales Gallery, where she exhibited her paintings and successfully sold and leased them.

Through her involvement with the Los Angeles and Culver City art community, she has connected with various art galleries, dealers and consultants. She holds ongoing studio tours and enjoys talking about her art and sharing her creative process. Ilana shares her love of art through teaching others.
